Tom Atkinson will be con chair for 2016

Cynthia aspires to be con chair for 2017  (depending on Tom).

Treasurer: $25k+ in the accounts

Hotel bill still outstanding and under negotiation. Expected to be about $5k.

Hotel is confused about some terms; the sales person is not confused. Confusion about room nights and how they apply. 

Report of expenses to be compiled; it is said to align well with the budget.

Programming committee needs to set meeting dates. Valentines day (2/14) for first meeting. Dr. G. asks that video needs be scheduled sequentially in same room. We'll try to make it work *this time*. Academic hours versus longer slots to be contemplated. Make sure we actively ask participants if they need a video projector. No response => probably not getting one.

Henry Hartsfield (shuttle astronaut) possible science guest. 

Cynthia wants to do podcasts of guests and first-time members to give a sense of what the con is like. She needs time, either in person or via FaceTime. 

Librarys for Africa proposed as another charity worth thinking of. Book drive for them, maybe?

Charity auction of all items needs to be during Saturday concert for maximal action. 

Shelving can be borrowed from BSFS; other items can be proposed for purchase outside the Con budget. 

Cynthia has a line on a company that does printed messenger bags -- data to be passed to Jo.

Decide whether to have an art show auction or not. We need to be clear up front with the artists and prospective buyers. Sale from bid sheet only. Consensus. 

Send thank you note to BSFS for use of stuff. Address provided to Jo.

Elektra re art auction: suspend, not drop; reassess each year.

We need a Con Suite person to replace Tom.

Don't forget Dr. G in program book for video services.

Disposition of Tom Smith concert video to be discussed; Tom posts the audio to his web page. With permission, we can post it to the web site. 

Modify mission statement to specifically mention more inclusiveness with respect to transgender/minority/counterculture aspect.
